This day is also part of our Permaculture Immersion Week.
About the Day
This hands-on composting course is all about healthy soil, the start of everything we grow. Soil is full of life, it holds water and carbon, and when we look after it, it looks after our plants. Yet it’s often the part of growing we think about least.
What You’ll Experience
- Getting your hands in the soil
- How to keep soil healthy without digging or chemicals
- How to make good compost from kitchen and garden waste
- Which mulches to use, and when
- How to read what your soil is telling you
It’s practical, a bit muddy, and works for any size of space.
What You’ll Leave With
You’ll know how to build better soil at home, and how to turn waste into something useful.

Who Is This For?
